The White River Jr Hornets are a competitive league with the objective to teach and develop all participants equally in skills, while implanting the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, loyalty and respect for oneself and others.

WR Jr Hornets are proud participants of the Narrows Youth Football League!

We have 2nd/3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade teams!

Season Info 2026: Season starts July 29th. Practice is held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m., located at the Early Learning Center in Buckley. Once school starts practices will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the ELC. Most games will be held on Saturdays. Please register your athlete for their grade for the 26-27 school year.

Registration Fees:

Registration $200

Registration includes:

Helmet Rental, Shoulder Pad Rental, and Practice Pant Rental
Registration costs assist with covering operational expenses such as equipment and supplies, facilities rentals, administration and insurance.

Uniforms

All new players will be required to purchase a uniform for the tackle season. Uniform purchase will be required to be completed separately by parent/guardian. Estimated uniform cost is $175/200 to be ordered in April/May. Additional pieces of the uniform your athlete has grown out of will be available for purchase.

Parents are responsible for purchasing cleats and mouthguards.

VOLUNTEER or BUY-OUT: Volunteer requirements are 2 (1-hr) shifts per family. The buy-out fee is $250 due at registration if you choose not to volunteer. If you are registering multiple children, please only apply the buy-out once. It is per family, not child. Sponsorship does not cover volunteer hours.

FUNDRAISING: Requirements for fundraising will be $100 sold. If you are able to gain a Sponsorship by August 1st, the fundraising requirement will be waved.

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds available through June 1; 50% refunds available August 1–31 for injury‑related reasons only; No refunds will be issued after August 31; Thank you for understanding as these deadlines help us finalize teams, equipment, and season costs
